Unemployment
the term used to describe the situation of those who are unsuccessful in finding paid employment
Causes of Unemployment
- Economic Recession
- Poor health
- Poor educational qualifications
- Outdated skills (not being able to use a computer)
- Redundancy (voluntary or compulsory)
- Being sacked from a job
- Lack of jobs in a particular field
- Machines now do a lot of work instead of human hands/labour
