- “Cooled for a long age in the deep delved earth
- Tasting of flora and the country green”
- Use of imagery + concise description.
- Fixation of nature = desire to escape like in Nightingale.
- Desire fuelled by industrial revolution. Chases the bird = key out of vociferous life.
- Created vivid perception of reality. Lets him comprehend his dream world of beauty/nature.
- Always returns to reality in final stanzas, but more accepting of reality.
